At C4D Kidz Childcare and Learning Center (CLC), we see young children as capable, competent, and full of wonder. We give them the respect they deserve by creating an environment which encourages questioning and by helping them to discover their own answers. We recognize that each child is an individual, with strengths, interests, and opportunities for growth. Our teachers take the time to get to know each child, enabling us to individualize the learning opportunities we provide. We support their natural curiosity, helping them become lifelong learners and out of the box thinkers.
We utilize the premiere curriculum guide, Creative Curriculum, to guide us in our planning. This curriculum is steeped in the research of early childhood education theorists such as Jean Piaget, Lev Vygotsky, and Lucy Sprague Mitchell. Our teachers are all certified early childhood education professionals and we are proud to provide high quality, ongoing professional development to ensure that our educators are equipped with the knowledge they need to provide your children with the highest quality early childhood education possible.

C4D Kidz Early Childhood Programs
At C4DKidz, we tailor our programs to the children who inhabit our classrooms. Our educators are well trained in the developmental needs of each age group, and take the time to get to know the strengths, interests, and needs of each individual child in the class.
Toddler Program
A primary goal in our toddler program is to help our youngest children grow accustomed to being in the care of adults outside of their family or home caregivers. We know that establishing their comfort with and trust in us is essential to their success at C4DKidz.
Toddlers go through a period of rapid development between the ages of 12-24 months. Many of them learn to walk and to talk. They develop increasing dexterity as they switch from utilizing their mouths to using their hands to identify and manipulate toys. Their independence begins to form, and yet they are still very much toddlers who thrive on the love and support of their adults. Educators in our toddler program provide the materials, the time and space, and the emotional bonds which enable our youngest children to successfully work on all of these important developmental milestones.

In our two-year-old classes, we focus primarily upon establishing the basis of the strong social-emotional skills which will carry our children through their time here at C4DKidz and beyond. We build their trust, self-confidence and impendence, and support their growing awareness of other children. Our two-year-olds learn to share a classroom, with all its materials, with a large group of other children - and our teachers support them with scripts, multiples of materials, and patience.
We know that young children learn through activating their sensory cortex, and so our two-year-old classrooms are filled with sensory opportunities - paint, clay, water, sand - a whole range of materials to touch.
